Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for many years. Elson began her career on the television industry as a model for children and actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS' science fiction series. Andrea tried out as the lead actress in ALF the hit 1986 show. She was a finalist. After a long time of work in hit TV shows, she left the industry to spend time with her children. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF as the teen daughter to Kate as well as Willie. People magazine released a retrospective of her career back in 2000. Elson commented that being a teenager with a spotlight wasn't an easy task. In New York City in 1969, Elson grew into a world that revolved around traveling because her father was a traveling salesman. In the ten years before her tenth birthday Andrea lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea found an agent located in San Diego and won her audition for the first role. Fusco said that ALF was 285 years old and could be a drinker. As ALF began to be becoming more famous, NBC said that Fusco would not be able to continue having ALF drinking alcohol before the children. It was considered a bad image of a role model. Fusco still believed ALF was an adult, and could manage the drink. In 1995 he was diagnosed with lymphoma. He was treated successfully and continued to be in remission until the year 2019. The cancer died on June 26, 2019, at the age of 75 at the Lillian Booth Actors Home in Englewood New Jersey.
