Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than 20 years. She is most well-known for her role in House on Fox. Growing up in Wayne with a strict Jewish traditions, she moved in New York City at the age of 18 to pursue studies in acting at the Tisch school of arts. But very soon, she became active in the club scene, making enough splashes that she was recognized by the media, simultaneously, she became aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. Eventually she used her training and fame to compose and write the musical Positive Me and was also in the show. Then she was employed by MTV to be the host of Awake On The Wild Side. When the show ended the actress went on to join the film as well as TV productions. She started with tiny roles and then established herself gradually as an actress.
