Amanda Blake
Amanda Blake, born as Beverly Louise Neill, was famous American actress. Most famous for her performance in the character of the character Miss Kitty Russell from the TV show "Gunsmoke", she was also a popular American actress. Besides this her other roles, she also had a reputation for playing in TV shows like 'The Red Skelton Show', "Tattletales" and "The Edge of Night'. She also acted in dozens of films like 'Stars In My Crown' 'Duchess Of Idaho', 'Cattle Town as well as 'Miss. Robin Crusoe' "About Mrs. Leslie', 'The Adventures of Hajji Baba', 'High Society' and 'The Boom'. Blake was a former telephone operator who was also a fan of animals, was devoted to animals. Along with partner Frank Gilbert, was one among the first individuals to successfully breed cheetahs in captivity. This American model was among the co-founders for the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL). Blake was also a board member of Humane Society of the United States. Blake has received many honours and was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. She was also awarded with the Courage Award from the American Cancer Society.
